Fox 2 is following the money, and the trail of stimulus projects is taking us to solar panels on ice. It's cash from the federal government's the multi-billion dollar stimulus package. Investigator Chris Hayes takes you to where one city got hundreds of thousands of dollars to put solar panels on an ice rink. The City of Florissant received $452,000 for the project.

The Gainesville Regional Airport will install 160 solar panels on their roof come October thanks to a state grant. Once in place, the panels will generate their own energy and save the facility on utility costs. This is not the first time the airport has used solar energy before. . . .

Conergy AG, a German maker of solar panels, said in an e-mail that it will build 32 megawatts of solar arrays in Greece from next year.
