State incentives brighten solar sales

State incentives for installing solar panels on homes for electricity generation have reached a high enough level that a national company in this field is now offering to install them without requiring any upfront investment by the property owner.

In an effort to save money and energy, Paolis Delaware Valley Friends School (DVFS) joined forces with four other local independent schools to pursue grants through the Philadelphia Area Independent School Business Officer Association (PAISBOA) to have solar panels installed. July 7 it was announced that their efforts paid off.

Solyndra to put solar panels on SoCal big-box, industrial rooftops
